Diane was born and raised in Southern California. She started her career working at Knotts Berry Farm before moving to the marketing and promotions office of the California Angels baseball team. She learned a lot about working in a fast-paced environment and soon took a job with IBM where she oversaw the personnel department for a 100-person team. Her love of computers and mastery of the “new” word processing system (IBM’s 5520!) led her to run a data entry department for a law firm, O’Melveny & Myers, in Newport Beach, California. She and her husband adopted two children and soon realized they wanted to raise their children in Colorado. She helped her husband with a few business opportunities while raising her children.
She finally found her way to MSLF where she started as legal secretary in 2003. She was promoted to Assistant to the President and worked in that capacity for 13 years. In 2018, she was promoted to Director of Operations where she has been busy building operations, communications, and development teams who are extraordinary employees that are focused on MSLF’s mission and are eager to work hard to obtain the lofty goals each have set. If you asked Diane why she works for MSLF, she would tell you that she believes in the American dream and she has faith that MSLF is working tirelessly to ensure her grandchildren can enjoy the same dream.
In her free time, Diane loves to paint and hike. She and her husband are also avid ATV riders and love the wide-open spaces that the Colorado mountains offer. She has two grandchildren, Rhett and Maggie Mae, and loves to spend her weekends with them as well as other family members and friends. They round out their happy family with a dog named Copper, the sweetest goldendoodle you will ever meet!
