Mountain States Legal Foundation’s case VanDerStok v. Garland has reached the Supreme Court! The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) appealed to the high court, asking the justices to stay the decision made by the federal District Court of Northern Texas, which ruled in Mountain States’ and our clients’ favor.
MSLF’s Center to Keep & Bear Arms is taking this opportunity to ask the Supreme Court to rule directly on the merits of the case, to once and for all shut down the ATF’s unlawful redefining firearms and the right to them. This is the moment to once more win a critical step forward in the preservation of our liberties. MSLF filed our brief to the Supreme Court today and we expect a decision by the end of the week.
