Chanel studied business at University of Colorado at Boulder and then proceeded to obtain a nutrition degree from a private nutrition institute in Denver.

Chanel’s nonprofit experience began very small when she was running a fitness studio called Cyclebar in 2017 but after COVID hit and a lot of our normalcies were taken away she decided to pivot and follow a line of work that was more rewarding. Chanel was the Director of Development at the Colorado nonprofit, Hide In Plain for a tad under three years where she helped impoverished young adults find the means to continue on to a successful post-secondary education. Over those few years she found the love of fundraising when it aligns so closely with your beliefs. After her mentor and the Executive Director retired Chanel decided it was time to move in another direction and she found Mountain States Legal Foundation. Chanel is a Major Gifts Officer with the Foundation and is focused on curating donor relationships and building new relationships that are long standing. The more she learns about the important work done at MSLF and interacts with our splendid attorneys, the more passionate she becomes in fighting for liberty.

Chanel’s life revolves mostly around her five year-old son. They love to go on vacation, just the two them and are always finding fun and exciting things to do on the weekends, like a farmers market, pottery painting or just snuggling on the couch. Other than that Chanel enjoys cooking, eating the food she cooks, reading, exercising and enjoying our beautiful Colorado scenery.
