Communications Fellowship

Role

As MSLF’s Communications Fellow, you will help share our client’s stories with the world through words, images, videos, and storytelling. You will assist in managing our social media platforms and channels, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube, and more. On a typical day, you might work with the Director of Communications to produce short-form videos or animations, draft social media posts, create graphics, or record a podcast. The ideal candidate may have experience working for another brand or could be an emerging influencer yourself. Applicants should be active on social media with a distinctive presence and a strong voice.

What to expect:

  • Utilize creative approaches to share our clients’ stories.
  • Use MSLF’s existing materials to create engaging content for MSLF’s social media platforms.
  • Research and gather content to find new ways to share clients’ stories and engage supporters.
  • Collaborate with the Communications and Development Teams to create materials for upcoming campaigns
  • To identify ways to inspire existing and prospective supporters with MSLF’s mission and activities.

  • Strong social media skills and video editing experience
  • Well organized and committed to professional growth
  • Strong individual writing voice and skills
  • Excellent grammar and writing skills
  • Independent thinking and problem-solving abilities
