Role
MSLF’s Development Team is responsible for maintaining contact with our current supporters and expanding our reach to prospective partners in liberty. This is achieved by streamlining development processes, strengthening relationships with supporters and donors, researching and identifying funding opportunities, and promoting MSLF’s mission and values to the public.
As a Development Fellow, you will help share the story of MSLF and its clients to current and prospective donors. This role will work collaboratively with the Communications and Legal Teams to understand and stay informed about MSLF’s cases, ensuring our donors are kept up to date on the Foundation’s work. Development Fellows support donor communications and organize outreach events to help expand our impact.
What to expect:
- Collaborate with team members to organize and facilitate donor outreach events and programs.
- Coordinate with the development team to process mailings.
- Assist with researching new and current foundations and prospects.
- Assist with managing and updating our donor database, including generating reports, queries, and lists.
