Development Fellowship

Role

MSLF’s Development team is responsible for maintaining contact with our current supporters and expanding our reach to prospective partners in liberty. This is accomplished by streamlining development processes, strengthening relationships with supporters and donors, researching and identifying funding opportunities, and promoting MSLF’s mission and values to the public.

As a Development Fellow, you will help share the story of MSLF and its clients with existing and potential donors. This position will work collaboratively with the Communications and Legal Teams to gain an understanding of, and remain knowledgeable about, MSLF’s cases and ensure that our donors are kept advised of the Foundation’s work. Development Fellows assist in donor communications and donor outreach events to help further expand our reach.

What to expect:

  • Work as part of a team to promote and facilitate donor outreach events and programs.
  • Work with the development team to process mailings.
  • Assist with research on new and existing foundations and prospects.
  • Help manage and update our donor database. This will include pulling reports, queries, and lists.
