“Save the Ranchers Roundup”

June 17-19 – Pinedale, WY

All Field Trip Attendees Also Become Freedom Club Members!!

As an MSLF supporter, you are invited to experience the West’s “Last Great Cattle Drive,” live and in-person, in support of the embattled cattle families.

About this Event

This isn’t a movie set. It isn’t a tourist attraction. This is a real cattle drive involving real cowhands, who move thousands of cattle up to 100 miles across private and public land to their summer pastures high in Wyoming’s rugged Wind River Range. The “Green River Drift” has taken place annually since the 1880s, making it a living piece of history. It could soon go away, however, if anti-ranching extremists succeed in using “grizzly bear protections” as a pretext to drive these ranching families off public lands.

  1. Attendees will enjoy: A welcome reception and dinner at Pinedale, Wyoming’s beautiful Mountain Man Museum where you will meet a few of the families whose livelihood you are trying to save.
  2. A day on the Green River Drift within Wyoming’s Bridger Teton National Forest lands and explore the national park on horseback.
  3. A BBQ with Albert Sommers on his historic family homestead.
  4. A breakfast panel and briefing on the issues behind the case.

Drift ranchers are MSLF clients because of your generous support. We are fighting on your behalf, to protect their grazing rights and preserve their family businesses and traditional Western ways. And we are inviting you, the key supporters, and allies of this case, to join us in Pinedale on June 17 through 19th to meet the ranching families we are defending in court, experience the Upper Green River Drift, and learn more about the many challenges’ ranchers face in the modern West.

It will be fascinating, fun, adventurous, educational — and proceeds from the ticket price will continue your fight to defend their livelihoods.
