Cody J. Wisniewski, Director of MSLF’s Center to Keep and Bear Arms (CKBA), released the following statement today in response to President Joe Biden’s executive actions related to firearms and the Second Amendment:
“The Center to Keep and Bear Arms anticipated that the Biden Administration would resort to executive orders to force unconstitutional gun control upon law-abiding Americans and stands ready to defend our rights as protected by the Second Amendment. If the administration truly believes that gun control has such strong bipartisan support, why did they resort to completely bypassing Congress to achieve their policy goals? We are prepared to counter any unconstitutional rules resulting from these orders. Should litigation be necessary, we are committed to defending against unconstitutional overreach by this Administration in support of individuals’ natural right to self-defense—from both man and tyranny.”
