Carjacked Congresswoman Sticks to Her Anti-Gun Guns

Was former Philadephia Mayor Frank Rizzo correct when he famously described a conservative as “a liberal who got mugged the night before”?

Apparently not, judging from a recent incident in crime-ravaged Philadelphia, where an anti-gun member of Congress was carjacked in broad daylight yet learned nothing from the experience and woke up the next morning every bit as liberal — and just as anti-gun — as she was the day before. We now have definitive proof that it takes more than just a mugging — or an armed carjacking — to budge a dyed-in-the-wool “progressive” from a long- and firmly-held bias against guns.

MSLF’s Cody J. Wisniewski, who runs our Center to Keep and Bear Arms, explored the broader meaning of the case earlier this week in The Truth About Guns. Follow this link to read Cody’s piece.
