Mountain States Legal Foundation’s Center for American Prosperity & Energy (CAPE) is dedicated to advancing the strength and security of our nation’s energy production and use, to promote prosperity and liberty for all Americans. CAPE has been launched in response to the systematic war on the energy and extractive resource industries, over the last several years. The federal government is using overregulation and the weaponization of federal agencies to form a crippling stranglehold on the energy industries and make it nearly impossible for them to operate.
MSLF’s CAPE begins a strategic new chapter in the fight for American energy growth and success. Through targeted legal action, CAPE will push back against overregulation and support the expansion of dependable, affordable energy. Its priorities include reining in the administrative state, shielding innovators from regulatory overreach, and strengthening free enterprise.
